All carts are booked for return by 9am on date of departure. If you would like to keep past that time, you will need to book for an additional day.

With Cape Charles being a Golf Cart town we highly highly recommend getting an early a start as possible to beat the horrific summertime late day and rush hour traffic which has been making people 2 and 3 hours later than they expect. For example … We always get the people that say, “We live in DC and it’s a 4 hr ride , we can’t check-in until 4:00 so we’re leaving home at noon.” Especially in the summer season that 4 hr drive will turn into 6-7 hrs!!
More than likely this will happen if you shoot to arrive at a 4 o’clock check-in time, you can always arrive earlier, grab your cart, go to the beach go to restaurant go to the shops, and then go check-in! It’s been making total sense and a lot better than sitting in standstill traffic!!! Plus you can basically enjoy another beautiful day in Cape Charles!
*** ALL CART DRIVERS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
*** RULES OF THE ROAD APPLY TO CARTS AND YOU CAN GET A DUI WHILE DRIVING A GOLF CART
*** Pack a standard 110 15/20 ft extension cord, we have a few, just makes it easier to charge your cart
Cherrystone Campground:
**** Rentals for Cherrystone Campground are no longer available. Like CC Ryder on Facebook, if something changes we will post an update.
HOURS OF OPERATION: 9am to 5pm
April to October:
If you have a reservation and cannot arrive before 5pm, we will make it happen (within reason) and you will get your cart.
Off Season:
Hours can very greatly depending on weather conditions, lack of people in town etc.
