Enjoyed a wonderful day with “Old Man River” ... the carts all have names. Just before returning the cart it suddenly died. I texted Smitty the owner and minutes later he appeared with his truck and an employee to assist. It was a simple battery terminal failure, but Smitty insisted on a full refund of the rental. I would definitely rent a cart from him again. He is fun and sincere, “the real deal”.

I just rented a golf cart for the first time from Smitty this weekend for cherrystone. He was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and very timely when responding about questions, delivery etc. I will honestly never rent from anyone else when I go down there now. Also will be recommending to everyone I know too!! Great experience with Smitty. Very easy to do business with. Cart was top notch. Arrived at campground, cart was there and so was he waiting for us so no vacation time lost waiting for someone. He is very understanding had little hiccup when we were leaving with our camper and was a bit late dropping off and he was totally understanding. Will defiantly be booking soon for next year.

I can't say enough nice things about CC Ryder Rentals! Very professional and easy to work with. The golf cart was very clean and even came with seatbelts which put this Mom at ease! We stumbled across CC Ryder Rentals while exploring Cape Charles. We were staying at Cherrystone Campground and the golf cart we had reserved with “the other guy” fell through. Smitty saved the day .......he quickly delivered a cart to us at the campground and we enjoyed it for the entire Labor Day weekend. THANK YOU Smitty!! Best place in Cape Charles to rent a golf cart. Not only were the prices reasonable the service was impeccable. I had 1 million questions about where I could rent other things and do other things in the town of Cape Charles and Smitty couldn’t of been more accommodating to me. I had his personal cell phone number and he texted me anytime I had a question. He made our experience more enjoyable. I needed a couple extra carts on a few odd days and he accommodated me immediately. He drove by on our last day and offered to drive the carts back himself seeing we were loading our truck and we were busy. Can’t ask for better service than that. The best part about it is his carts are all newer. I will be be back!
